| Silver Ridge Elementary will be continuing a mandatory school uniform program. The success of a standard uniform dress code requires the cooperation of both the school and home. We hope the following information will be helpful. A standard dress code has the potential to enhance the school environment, minimize distraction, promote academic excellence, and instill school pride and a sense of community.
You may purchase your son/daughter's uniform at the establishment of your choice, however, as in purchasing any garment, price, color and quality may differ from store to store. Please match colors and style before purchasing. The uniform styles and colors for Silver Ridge Elementary are indicated below:
TOPS:
- polo style shirts (boys and girls) | white, light blue, royal blue and navy
- oxford shirts (boys and girls) | white and light blue
- long sleeve polo shirts (boys and girls) | white, light blue, royal blue and navy
- blouses (girls) | white and light blue
BOTTOMS:
- long pant Docker style (boy and girls) | navy or khaki
- bermuda shorts (boys and girls) | navy or khaki
- jumpers (girls) | navy or khaki
- culottes, skort, tennis skirt, skirt (girls) | navy or khaki
- NO GYM SHORTS, CUT-OFFS, OR SWEATPANT STYLES ARE PERMITTED
Friday will continue to be Spirit Day. Students may wear their Silver Ridge T-shirts with jeans or the school uniform on Spirit Day. Wednesdays are "Green Earth" T-shirt Day. Both t-shirts may be ordered from the Silver Ridge PTO. Earlly Release Day will be a free dress day. Students will not be required to wear the school uniform on those days.
